Classic Trucks

Throughout the year I usually get to make a few of the antique truck shows and even some antique farm tractor shows that will feature some antique trucks and equipment.  On this page I will feature pictures of classis and vintage trucks and equipment that I have had the privilege of seeing during the year.  If you have some pictures of some classy classic and vintage trucks you would like to see featured here, please send them to me in an e-mail by using the "E-mail Webmaster" button on the main page.  Please send all of the pertinent information with the photos.

The first trucks that Better-Bilt Aluminum leased from Ryder Truck Rental were single-axle International Harvester CO4070B Transtar II Cabover tractors.  This photo was given to me by the late Rex Smeltzer (Toilet Paper) before he passed on.  I am guessing about 1976 was the year.
These trucks were on display at the 2009 Shenandoah Valley Steam and Gas Engine Association "Pageant of Steam" Show held July 24, 25, and 26th in Berryville, VA.  The white Mack shown at left is a 1946 Mack, originally a Fire Equipment Truck.  It is restored with the original 1946 Mack GASOLINE engine.

The brown Mack shown at right is a 1957 H-Model Mack.
Fred Craig, shown left, with his 1957 Kenworth and 1951 3,000 Gallon Gasoline tanker.  Fred is President of the Mason-Dixon Chapter of the American Truck Historical Society located in Frederick, MD.
